Tom Fuchs defeated Kayhan Mokri heads-up on August 22 to win the 100,000 euro EPT Super High Roller at EPT Barcelona for 1,126,540 euros, his first outright win in a PokerStars-sponsored event and the second seven-figure score of his career. The Norwegian was chasing an unprecedented three-peat in the same event.
The numbers
The event ran August 21 to 22 and drew 27 entries including 8 re-entries, building a 2,619,540 euro prize pool. Enrico Camosci bubbled in fifth. Payouts: Fuchs 1,126,540 euros for the win, Mokri 707,000 euros in second, Jamie Dwan 472,000 euros in third, and Byron Kaverman 314,000 euros in fourth.
Fuchs's road to Barcelona
Fuchs made his EPT debut in 2022 and had built a résumé of high-stakes cashes, including 228,000 euros for ninth in the 100K High Roller for One Drop in Monte Carlo in May 2026, plus a 2024 WSOP Paradise bracelet. Coming into Barcelona he had already been the overnight leader at the end of day one and was chip leader entering the final. Players and staff agreed to compress the original three-day schedule into two, which is where the wire-to-wire run ended.
